Dalam kisah Street Kings, sebuah kisah polisi pembunuh bernama Tom Ludlow (Keanu Reeves) yang merupakan seorang veteran wakil detektif di LAPD. Ludlow menyusun rencana pengungkapan pembunuhan terhadap rekannya, Detektif Terrance Washington (Terry Crews). Kapten Wander (Forest Whitaker), atasan Ludlow, yang memiliki tugas sekaligus menjaganya agar tetap pada jalur hukum. Ludlow bekerja sama dengan seorang detektif muda bagian pembunuhan dan poerampokan (Chris Evans) untuk mencari jejak pembunuh Washington di berbargai komunitas di Los Angeles. Pencarian mereka akhirnya berhasil dan berkonfrontasi langsung dengan mereka untuk menegakkan keadilan.
In STREET KINGS, a police thriller directed by David Ayer, Keanu Reeves plays Tom Ludlow, a veteran LAPD Vice Detective. Ludlow sets out on a quest to discover the killers of his former partner, Detective Terrance Washington (Terry Crews). Academy® Award winner Forest Whitaker plays Captain Wander, Ludlow's supervisor, whose duties include keeping him within the confines of the law and out of the clutches of Internal Affairs Captain Biggs (Hugh Laurie). Ludlow teams up with a young Robbery Homicide Detective (Chris Evans) to track Washington's killers through the diverse communities of Los Angeles. Their determination pays off when the two Detectives track down Washington's murderers and confront them in an attempt to bring them to justice.

STREET KINGS is set for a wide release on April 11, 2008. The film is directed by David Ayer and written by James Elroy and David Ayer (who wrote "Training Day"). It is produced by Erwin Stoff, Alexandra Milchan and Lucas Foster. The full cast includes Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, Naomie Harris, Jay Mohr, John Corbett, Cedric the Entertainer, Amaury Nolasco, Terry Crews, Common and The Game.
